Good morning families,
Thank you so much for your cooperation and patience. All students in the school, whether all-remote or partially remote, engage in live instruction online. I am writing to ask parents to be mindful of a few important things related to online learning:
When the camera is on, we can see everything in the background, please be mindful of this.
We can also hear everything, so it is important for children to work in a quiet space if possible.
If headphones or earbuds are available, children should use them. They help to block out background noise and keep children more focused on the lessons.
Only P.S. 41 students should be on camera during lessons. We understand that in some cases parents are helping children and may be in close proximity.
There should never be photos or video taken while lessons are going on.
No recording of lessons is allowed. The teacher may decide to record a lesson and post it later, but that is under the discretion of the teacher.
We encourage cameras to be on as this helps us to know what your child may be engaging in while we are giving lessons. If there is a personal concern or issue please reach out to directly to teachers.
