Dear P.S. 41 Families,
I did not want the week to go by without everyone knowing how profoundly sad we are in light of the recent tragedy in Texas. We are not hearing much from children, but please know that this is of course on the minds of all of the adults. Like all of you, we are trying to reconcile and process what seems completely unthinkable. Safety is and always will be our #1 priority in schools. We never stop thinking about the safety of our students at P.S. 41.
I have four children of my own who I send off to public schools each day. I know that their schools do everything they can to protect my kids, as we do here for yours.
