Dear P.S. 41 Families,
We hope you are all well and staying safe!
Following the Mayor and Chancellor’s announcement, all students who opted for blended learning will attend school in person five days a week starting on January 11th. This means there will no longer be a three week A/B/C cohort schedule beginning on 1/11/21. It is possible your child’s teacher will change. If this is the case, we will notify you. Both teachers will still service students in the ICT classes. Those who opted for remote learning will continue to learn remotely from home, although in those classes too there may be some impact in terms of specials or potential teacher changes. We have come a long way during this pandemic and we will continue to move forward in the strongest ways we can.
In this new model beginning January 11th, we will of course continue to maintain social distancing and adhering to health and safety guidelines in school. Please continue to send your child to school with a mask and complete the daily health screening before arriving to school. Weekly COVID-19 testing will continue when we return from break.

Tras el anuncio del alcalde y el canciller, todos los estudiantes que optaron por el aprendizaje combinado asistirán a la escuela en persona cinco días a la semana a partir del 11 de enero. Esto significa que ya no habrá un programa de cohortes A / B / C de tres semanas a partir del 1/11/21. Es posible que las maestras/maestros de su hijo cambie. Si este es el caso, se lo notificaremos. Los profesores seguirán prestando servicios juntos a los estudiantes en las clases de TIC. Aquellos que optaron por el aprendizaje a distancia seguirán aprendiendo de forma remota desde sus casa, aunque también en esas clases puede haber algún impacto en términos de especiales o posibles cambios de profesores. Hemos recorrido un largo camino durante esta pandemia y continuaremos avanzando de la manera más firme posible.
